Terms of Service
These terms describe how maqtechs.com may be used and the basic conditions that apply when you contact us, use the customer portal, or access information and materials from MAQ Techs AB.
1. About the website and scope of these terms
These terms of service apply to the use of the MAQ Techs AB website, its content, and links to the customer portal, contact forms, and other digital services made available through the website.
These terms do not regulate every customer engagement in detail. For delivered services, support, projects, licences, or managed operations, separate quotations, contracts, engagement confirmations, and any data-processing agreements will apply first.
2. Supplier information
- MAQ Techs AB
- Uppsala, Sweden
- support@maqtechs.com
- +46 107 075 999
Company details, contact channels, and core service information are made available on the website in accordance with Swedish rules on electronic commerce.
3. Permitted use
You may use the website to access information about our services, contact us, book meetings, and reach relevant customer functions. You may not use the website in a way that causes harm, disruption, or unauthorised access.
- Attempts to bypass security features or test vulnerabilities without permission are not allowed.
- The website may not be used for unlawful, misleading, or abusive content or communication.
- Automated collection of data may not take place in violation of law, accepted practice, or our express instructions.
4. Information on the website
We aim for the information on the website to be accurate, clear, and up to date. Nevertheless, content may from time to time need to be adjusted, for example when services, technical conditions, or prices change.
The content on the website should normally be regarded as general information and marketing. Binding obligations arise only when the parties have expressly agreed on them in a quotation, contract, or other clear confirmation.
5. Enquiries, orders, and contracts
When you send an enquiry through the website, this does not normally mean that a contract is formed immediately. A contract is formed only once MAQ Techs has confirmed the engagement or the parties have otherwise expressly agreed.
If a contract is formed electronically through the website or an integrated service, the information requirements and contract rules under Swedish law will apply, including the E-Commerce Act and, where relevant, the Distance Contracts Act.
6. Consumer-law rules
If you are acting as a consumer, mandatory consumer-protection law prevails over these terms to the extent required by law. This may include information duties, withdrawal rights, price information, and fair contract terms.
For services sold remotely to consumers, specific rules on the right of withdrawal and contract confirmation may apply under the Swedish Distance Contracts and Off-Premises Contracts Act (2005:59).
7. Customer portal and external services
Some functions, such as the customer portal, may be provided through external platforms such as Microsoft 365 or SharePoint. The use of such services may therefore also be governed by the respective provider’s own terms and security requirements.
We are not responsible for the content of external websites or platforms we link to, except to the extent required by mandatory law.
8. Intellectual-property rights
The content of the website, including text, structure, graphics, design, logos, and other materials, belongs to MAQ Techs AB or is used with the permission of the relevant rights holder. The material may not be copied, distributed, or used commercially without permission, unless otherwise allowed by law or express consent.
9. Operations, availability, and limitation of liability
We aim for high availability and secure operations, but the website and its functions are provided as they are. Temporary interruptions, maintenance, updates, or technical errors may occur.
MAQ Techs is not liable for indirect loss, loss of profit, loss of data, or other consequential damage arising from the use of the website, unless otherwise required by mandatory law or a separate agreement.
10. Personal data
The processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy. It explains what data we process, why we do so, and which rights you have.
11. Changes to the terms
We may update these terms when needed, for example due to legal changes, new services, or changes in the way we work. The latest version is always published on the website together with the last-updated date.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms shall be interpreted and applied in accordance with Swedish law. If you are a consumer, this does not affect any rights you may have under mandatory consumer-protection legislation.
Disputes should first be handled through dialogue. If this is not successful, the dispute may be brought before a competent Swedish court. Consumers may also be able to turn to the National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN) or another competent authority.
